Job Title - Senior Frontend Engineer - Product Experience Team

Your role will be to help us provide a world-class experience to our customers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to significantly contribute to the foundation of Auth's product stack, realizing a huge impact for both our customers and partners.

What you will do :

Work with product & design teams to deliver world-class user experiences.

Delight our customers by providing world class UX using our React-based design ​​​​​ system.

Drive technical decisions, while striving to strike the right balance between factors such as simplicity, flexibility, reliability, and performance.

Proactively address needs of teams across the engineering organization to ensure rapid delivery of a robust, secure and maintainable product.

Mentor junior engineers on their development journey

Contribute to improving Auth's architecture, performance, observability, security controls, and best practices.

Work from the Bangalore Okta office for days in a week.

Skills Key Qualifications :

• years of expertise with frontend application development.

Solid understanding of Javascript and experience working with React and Redux / MobX

Hands-on experience with NextJs

Hands-on experience working and building with Design System libraries

Experience with working with US counterpart engineering teams.

Experience with CI / CD tools like Github Actions, Jenkins etc and maintenance of a delivery pipeline

Verifiable track record of moving software through all stages of development from ideation to deprecation.

A high bar for both code quality and unit tests as well as quality of user experience.

Embrace developer-first mindset while crafting elegant solutions.

Solid written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves :

Hands-on experience with NodeJS and Express

Experience working in distributed teams and work environments
