Software Engineer - DevOps

Description

:We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer with strong experience in cloud platforms (Azure & AWS), CI/CD automation, containerization, and infrastructure as code. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in fast-paced environments, driving automation-first practices, and leveraging AI/ML-driven monitoring and optimization (AIOps) to improve reliability, security, and scalability.

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure onAWS and Azure

• Implementhigh availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery strategies

• Manage cloud resources usingInfrastructure as Code (IaC) tools likeTerraform CloudFormation

• Optimize cloud costs usingFinOps best practices

CI/CD & Automation

• Build and maintainCI/CD pipelines using tools such as:

• Azure DevOps

• GitHub Actions

• GitLab CI

• Jenkins

• Automate build, test, and deployment workflows

• Improve deployment frequency and reduce MTTR

Containers & Orchestration

• Containerize applications usingDocker

• Deploy and manage workloads onKubernetes (AKS / EKS)

• Configure Helm charts for application deployment

• Manage container security and image scanning

Monitoring, Logging & AIOps

• Set up monitoring and alerting using:

• Azure Monitor

• Prometheus & Grafana

• ELK / EFK Stack

• ImplementAI-driven monitoring & anomaly detection (AIOps)

• Use predictive alerts and automated remediation where possible

• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and post-incident reviews

Security & Compliance (DevSecOps)

• ImplementDevSecOps practices across CI/CD pipelines

• Manage secrets usingAzure Key Vault / AWS Secrets Manager

• Perform vulnerability scanning and security audits

• Ensure compliance with security standards (ISO, SOC2, GDPR – as applicable)

Scripting & Automation

• Write automation scripts usingPython, Bash, or PowerShell

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, patching, and scaling

• Build self-healing systems using event-driven automation

AI & Modern DevOps Practices

• UseAI tools for log analysis, performance optimization, and incident prediction

• IntegrateChatOps (Slack / Teams bots) for deployments and alerts

• Leverage AI-assisted tools for:

• Cost optimization

• Security anomaly detection

• Capacity planning

Collaboration & Ownership

• Work closely withdevelopers, QA, security, and product teams

• Participate in architecture discussions and solution design

• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices

• Maintain documentation for infrastructure and processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience inDevOps / Cloud Engineering

• Strong experience withAWS and/or Azure

• Expertise inCI/CD pipelines

• Hands-on experience withDocker and Kubernetes

• Infrastructure as Code usingTerraform

• Strong scripting skills (Python / Bash)

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools

Good-to-Have (Highly Preferred)

• Experience withAIOps or AI-based monitoring tools

• Knowledge ofmicroservices architecture

• Exposure toserverless (AWS Lambda / Azure Functions)

• Experience withGitOps (ArgoCD / Flux)

• Knowledge ofFinOps and cost governance

• Experience inhigh-traffic / enterprise-scale systems
