This role is for an Autosys Specialist to manage and support Autosys environments globally. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Unix, shell scripting, and Autosys, providing round-the-clock production support and ensuring the smooth operation of scheduling activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd level handling of Autosys environments for global operations.
- Ensure all reporting of incidents is accurate and timely.
- Offer production support for round-the-clock dependent activities across global regions and cross-teams.
- Identify and document procedures for timely resolution of incidents and problems.
- Perform monitoring and scheduling of jobs in Autosys environments, adhering to Change & Audit guidelines.
- Troubleshoot all scheduling and execution issues of batches.
- Develop and document procedures required for production release of new features and operational process documentation for steady-state service management.
Skills
Mandatory : UNIX skills & shell scripting .Mandatory : Experience with Scheduling Tools (i.e., Autosys 4.5 / R11.3.5 ).Strong interest in the IT infrastructure domain .Experience in supporting IT systems in a multi-platform, multi-site, mission-critical environment on a 24 / 7 basis.Ability to identify and document procedures for problem resolution.Expertise in troubleshooting scheduling and execution issues.Qualifications
