Position Overview :

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a robust test automation framework to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. This role requires a strong understanding of both end-to-end and integration testing methodologies and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications :

6+ years of professional experience.

Proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer or a similar role.

Strong proficiency in TypeScript / JavaScript, Java.

Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks like

Playwright

(preferred) or Cypress, Selenium.

Experience with

Cucumber

or other BDD frameworks.

Solid understanding of testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and E2E testing.

Familiarity with CI / CD concepts and experience with tools like

Jenkins , GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities :

Design, build, and maintain a comprehensive

test automation framework

for our web applications and backend services.

Develop and execute automated test scripts for

end-to-end (E2E)

and

integration testing .

Utilize

Playwright

for E2E testing of full-stack applications and

Cucumber

for behavior-driven development (BDD) with backend services.

Integrate the test automation framework into our

CI / CD pipeline , with exposure to tools like

Jenkins , to enable continuous testing with every build.

Collaborate with development, product management, and QA teams to identify testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Analyze and report test results, track defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
