Job description

Position : Ab Initio Developer

Engagement : C2H (Contract to Hire)

Experience : 5+ Years

Location : Gurugram and Pune

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop ETL workflows and processes using Ab Initio to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Perform data profiling, data quality analysis, and troubleshooting to ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Optimize Ab Initio jobs for performance, scalability, and Develop and maintain data processing flows and support data integration for business intelligence and analytics needs.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement and enforce best practices in data integration and ETL development.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues as required.
  • Document processes, technical specifications, and maintain a knowledge base for future reference.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in ETL development with Ab Initio.
  • Strong proficiency in Ab Initio components such as GDE, EME, Express>It, Continuous Flows, and other related modules.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
  • Solid understanding of data quality principles and experience in data validation.
  • Proven experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting ETL jobs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
