Roles and Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain complex ETL mappings, workflows, and UNIX shell scripts in a Data Warehouse environment using Informatica PowerCenter, advanced SQL, Unix Shell Scripts, and Autosys / Tidal Enterprise Scheduler, based on technical specifications and supporting documentation.

Contribute to the creation of technical project documentation, including functional and detailed design documents, ensuring alignment with requirements and sufficient detail for development teams.

Participate in production deployments, following change control procedures, documentation standards, and ensuring effective communication with operations and support teams.

Ensure adherence to technical best practices, standards, and organizational policies.

Gather and document business requirements; analyze current technology, data, and processes to propose optimized solutions.

Analyze complex cross-functional problems; effectively communicate technical concepts to facilitate collaboration within project teams.

Coordinate with IT leads to oversee development, testing, and implementation phases, ensuring all deliverables meet defined expectations.

Perform effectively under pressure, working independently or collaboratively within a team environment.

Support the Data Quality Program, including the creation and execution of DQ rules / queries using Informatica IDQ and issue tracking via JIRA.

Resolve production defects in accordance with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Job Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

4–8 years of hands-on experience using Informatica, DB2, SQL Server, and Unix.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a data integration lead role, preferably in the financial services industry.

Over 5 years of experience in Informatica ETL development, including both batch and real-time / near real-time data integration.

At least 1 year of experience in object-oriented programming languages such as Python or Java (preferred).

Experience with Data Modeling using ER Studio, including Dimensional and Canonical Modeling.

Strong experience with one or more RDBMS platforms (e.g., DB2, Oracle) and UNIX scripting.

Knowledge of or experience with Informatica Data Quality, data modeling, and data design for data warehouses, data marts, and data lakes (preferred).

Familiarity with AWS Data Services such as RDS, Redshift, S3, Athena, Glue, Kinesis, and EMR.

Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, AWS, Spark, Kafka, and Hive (preferred).

Excellent facilitation and presentation skills with a strong customer service mindset and the ability to multitask.

Experience working in both Waterfall and Agile development methodologies.

Strong team player with excellent communication, logical thinking, and analytical skills.

Self-motivated, flexible, and decisive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work streams under tight deadlines.
