Role Purpose
The Senior Business Analyst will own the end-to-end monthly target setting process and lead performance analysis across the customer lifecycle. This role will ensure consumption, delivery, invoicing, receivables, margins, and profitability are tracked against the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) goals. The candidate will transform operational data into actionable insights, enabling leadership to make data-driven interventions for growth, margin optimization, and account health.
Key Responsibilities
1. Target Setting Ownership
- Lead monthly target setting for all Vertical Service Delivery (VSD) teams, ensuring alignment to AOP goals.
- Validate consumption, delivery, invoicing, and receivables data for accuracy before target lock.
- Integrate new deals and upsells into monthly targets as they close.
- Maintain and optimize the Target Setting Rules Engine to ensure consistent methodology.
- Partner with Sales, VSD, and Finance teams to ensure operational alignment.
2. Performance Metrics & Insights
Track and report on VSD-level, account-level, and deal-level performance against targets.Monitor KPIs including consumption, delivery, invoicing, receivables, EBITDA, margins, and profitability.Identify trends, risks, and shortfalls; provide actionable recommendations for course correction.Maintain and enhance dashboards to present real-time performance data to leadership.3. Governance & Data Integrity
Ensure operational platforms and trackers are consistently updated by VSD teams.Lead performance review discussions during Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and Quarterly Planning.Create and maintain SOPs for data capture, reporting, and insight generation.4. Strategic Insights for Growth
Analyze account-level data to highlight growth opportunities (upsell, cross-sell) and areas for margin improvement.Provide predictive analysis for pipeline impact on future targets.Partner with leadership to translate performance trends into operational and strategic initiatives.Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field.4–5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Revenue Operations, or Performance Management, ideally in a SaaS or services organization.Strong financial and operational modeling skills.Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets, BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker), and CRM / ERP systems.Proven ability to synthesize complex datasets into clear insights and recommendations.Key Skills
