Job descriptionOwn and drive end-to-end architecture design and implementation of Node.js-based applications. Define and enforce best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines. Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to design scalable solutions. Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance for enterprise-grade applications. Mentor, guide, and upskill engineering teams in modern development practices. Evaluate and integrate new technologies, tools, and frameworks into the ecosystem. Conduct architecture and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables. Drive adoption of microservices, containerization, and cloud-native solutions. Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and efficiency. Ensure security compliance and risk mitigation across system design. Strong expertise in Node.js with proven experience in building large-scale, distributed systems. Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, REST APIs, and event-driven systems. Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript and asynchronous programming. Solid understanding of scalable system design, performance tuning, and high availability systems. Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and caching strategies (Redis, Memcached). Exposure to CI / CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control (Git). Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Proven ability to mentor teams and lead architectural discussions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
