About the Role :

Nexturn Inc is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join our dynamic team, collaborating closely with Red Hat and customer teams. This role focuses on designing, developing, and mentoring others in modern Cloud Native Development practices using .NET and containerization tools like Podman. The ideal candidate thrives in microservices architectures, test-driven development, and fostering team growth.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure .NET microservices.
Implement Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines ensuring efficient software releases.
Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Develop and run microservices in Podman containers, leveraging inner-loop development practices.
Use Podman Compose (or equivalent) for multi-container local development.
Design and implement automated API testing strategies for RESTful services.
Integrate observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing) for monitoring and troubleshooting.
Mentor junior / mid-level developers via pairing sessions and technical guidance.
Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions for microservices and containerization strategies.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and advocate for best practices in .NET and microservices development.

Required Skills & Experience :

7+ years in software development with Microsoft .NET Core / .NET 6+ or 8+.

Expert in C# and modern .NET application development.

Strong experience in microservices architecture design, development, and deployment.

Hands-on experience with Continuous Delivery tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI / CD, Jenkins).

Practical experience in Podman (daemonless / rootless) and multi-container setups.

Skilled in API testing frameworks (Postman, Newman, SpecFlow, Playwright, XUnit / NUnit).

Deep understanding of Observability tools : Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK Stack, Splunk.

Proficiency with RESTful API design, relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL), and ORMs like Entity Framework Core.

Excellent mentorship, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Expertise Levels :

C# - 7 years

.NET - 10 years

Microservices - 5 years (Advanced)
