Job description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to join our team at Crisil, a data-centric organization. As a Technical Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and building scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions capable of handling large data sets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.

Responsibilities :

Design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that can handle large data sets.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
Review and fine-tune existing applications to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with the central architecture team to construct best coding practices, principles, and guidelines for developers.
Develop and maintain technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve system performance, scalability, and security.
Lead the design and implementation of large-scale projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Mentor and guide junior technical staff, providing technical guidance and oversight.
Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies and make recommendations for adoption.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

At least 10-15 years of experience in Software development, with at least 5 years of experience in technical architecture or a related field.

Technical Skills :

Strong understanding of software architecture principles and patterns.

Proficiency in Java programming language and Java-based technologies, including Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, Java EE and front-end technologies like Angular, React.

Understanding of multiple other programming languages, including Python, Scala and PySpark.

Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.

In-depth knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

Practical experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment.

Leadership Skills :

Proven experience leading technical teams and projects

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders

Soft Skills :

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements

Nice to Have :

Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field

Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools.

Experience with machine learning or artificial intelligence ,Gen AI.

Certification in Java development or technical architecture Like TOGAF.

Experience with agile development methodologies.
