DevOps Engineer- Google Cloud Platform

Job description Deploy and manage MERN stack applications (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) on Cloud Run Build CI / CD pipelines for React frontend and Node.js backend deployments Implement Global Load Balancing and Cloud CDN for frontend and backend services Set up Cloud DNS, SSL certificates, and custom domain management Configure GitHub Actions workflows for automated MERN stack deployments Manage VPC networking, Cloud NAT, and secure connectivity between services Optimize MongoDB (Cloud SQL / Atlas) and database connectivity Deploy and scale FastAPI AI services on Cloud Run with VPC egress Configure Cloud Armor, IAM, and Secret Manager for security Set up comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting for all services Optimize GCS for static asset delivery and file storage Implement container optimization for Node.js and Python services GCP certifications (Cloud Architect, DevOps Engineer) Experience with FastAPI or Python web frameworks Knowledge of React optimization (code splitting, lazy loading, SSR) Experience with Express.js and Node.js performance tuning Background in high-traffic SaaS platforms Startup environment experience Knowledge of AI / ML infrastructure Experience with MongoDB Atlas or managed database services

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a DevOps Engineer located in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for Scale our GCP Cloud Run microservices architecture to support high-traffic production workloads across India. Manage deployment pipelines for our MERN stack applications and FastAPI AI services.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience
- Strong GCP expertise : Cloud Run, Load Balancing, CDN, VPC networking
- Experience deploying MERN stack applications in production
- Hands-on with React build optimization and Node.js containerization
- Experience with DNS management, SSL / TLS, and domain configuration
- Proficient in GitHub Actions or Cloud Build for CI / CD
- Strong Docker and containerization skills (Node.js, Python environments)
- Experience with MongoDB deployment and management
- Python / Bash scripting for automation
- Experience scaling serverless / container-based architectures
