Horticultural Manager

Job descriptionBachelor’s / master’s degree in Horticulture, Botany, or a related field. 5+ years of relevant experience as a Horticulture Executive / Manager. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team and build positive working relationships. Proven experience in horticulture or a similar role in hospitals, schools, hotels, etc. Strong knowledge of plant biology, soil science, and integrated pest management. Manage and planning planting schedules and environments to ensure optimal growth and health of plants and seasonal requirements. Supervise the horticulture and gardening activities of the designated staff. Regularly inspect plants for pests and diseases. Develop and implement integrated pest control strategies. Develop and maintain efficient irrigation and watering systems. Monitor water usage to ensure effective conservation and plant health.
