Role Overview :

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Operations Sr. Manager to lead multi-site operations, drive operational excellence, and deliver sustainable profitability. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in greenfield / brownfield project execution, manufacturing strategy, planning, quality and automation and especially within the jewellery, automotive, heavy engineering, or similar precision-driven industries.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Strategic Leadership & Business Operations

  • Lead and manage end-to-end operations across multi-location units.
  • Align manufacturing operations with business objectives to improve cost-efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive manufacturing and business strategies.
  • Successfully execute Greenfield / Brownfield projects from concept to commissioning.

2. Operational Excellence & Systems

  • Develop and implement World Class Manufacturing (WCM) frameworks using :
  • Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Multi-skilling, etc.
  • Drive continuous improvement across workflows to enhance performance and eliminate waste.

    • 3. Automation & Digital Transformation

  • Lead automation initiatives including robotics, AI-driven systems, and digital process optimization.
  • Contribute to strategic technology projects focused on enhancing capacity and process reliability.

    • 4. Quality, EHS & Compliance

  • Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, statutory compliance, and EHS protocols across all sites.

    • 5. People Development

  • Build and nurture high-performance teams across blue- and white-collar workforce segments.
  • Foster a culture of safety, discipline, innovation, and B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical or Automation or Production Engineering
  • Alumni of reputed Minimum 10 years in plant operations, manufacturing, or works management
  • At least 7 to 10 years in senior leadership roles
  • Exposure to automobile, auto-ancillary, jewellery, heavy engineering, process industry, or similar sectors
