As the Senior Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking - Connected Commerce / Proprietary Wallets, you will take on a leadership role by offering technical coaching and advisory to multiple technical teams. Additionally, you will anticipate the needs and potential dependencies of other functions within the firm.

Job responsibilities

• Provide overall direction, oversight, and coaching for a team of entry-level to mid-level software engineers that work on basic to moderately complex tasks
• Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
• Takes accountability for decisions that influence teams' resources, budget, tactical operations, and the execution and implementation of processes and procedures
• Ensures successful collaboration across teams and stakeholders
• Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
• Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firm wide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Provides input to leadership regarding budget, approach, and technical considerations to improve operational efficiencies and functionality for the team
