Job Title : Lead Engineer .NET

Location : Kochi / Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala (Kerala Candidates Only)

Experience : 5- 8 Years

Qualification : Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

About the Role :

The Lead Engineer .NET will be responsible for leading end-to-end development of scalable web applications and APIs using the .NET Core framework. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade software solutions while ensuring code quality, performance, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the design, development, and implementation of web APIs and applications using .NET Core.
Manage and guide a team of developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and first-time quality delivery.
Review code, pull requests, and ensure adequate test coverage through unit testing.
Collaborate with architects to define technical solutions and ensure alignment with business goals.
Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and agile ceremonies; lead sprints in the absence of the Scrum Master.
Translate business requirements and user stories into technical specifications and deliver working code.
Ensure compliance with CI / CD pipelines, static code analysis, and version control standards.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain application performance and scalability.
Oversee integration of various databases (SQL / NoSQL) and cloud-based services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Drive process improvements and adoption of best practices within the development team.
Mentor junior team members in coding, architecture, and agile methodologies.
Prepare design documents, technical specifications, and implementation reports.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend tools or frameworks that enhance productivity.

Required Skillsets :

Proven expertise in developing .NET Core-based web applications and RESTful APIs.

Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and Blazor.

Excellent understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns.

Proficiency in working with RDBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cosmos DB).

Experience in microservices architecture and containerized deployment (Docker, Kubernetes preferred).

Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or Google Cloud equivalents.

Strong understanding of CI / CD pipelines, build automation, and DevOps practices.

Proficiency with GIT or SVN for version control.

Exposure to static code analysis tools and agile tracking tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to anticipate technical challenges.

Strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have :

Experience with identity providers such as IdentityServer, Auth0, or Keycloak.
