Job Description
A luxury resort located in the heart of Umbria is seeking an experienced and dynamic Spa Manager to lead all spa operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. This role requires a highly professional leader with strong operational skills, a passion for wellness, and the ability to maintain the highest standards of service in a refined environment. The selected candidate will oversee the spa team, treatments, retail operations, wellness programs, and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
Lead and manage daily spa operations to ensure seamless service delivery and outstanding guest experiences.
Supervise, train, and motivate a team of therapists, receptionists, and wellness professionals.
Develop and maintain treatment menus, wellness programs, and seasonal offerings in alignment with the resort’s luxury standards and brand identity.
Ensure compliance with all health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
Manage inventory, retail sales, supply orders, and cost control.
Collaborate with other departments, including Rooms Division, F&B, and Marketing, to support integrated guest experiences and cross-promotions.
Implement guest feedback processes and continuously improve service quality.
Monitor financial performance, prepare reports, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting.
Maintain a strong presence on the spa floor to support team performance and guest engagement.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of spa management experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
Excellent understanding of spa treatments, wellness programs, and high-end service standards.
Solid knowledge of operational procedures, budgeting, and revenue management.
Fluency in English required; Italian is a strong advantage.
Professional certifications in wellness, spa management, or related fields are preferred.
Strong guest-focused attitude with a commitment to excellence.
