Role Overview :

We’re looking for a Test Engineer who’s passionate about quality, has strong Java fundamentals, and can write effective test cases across web, mobile, and backend systems. This is a core engineering role where you’ll design test plans, enhance automation frameworks, and help ensure our platform runs smoothly for millions of learners.

Backend : Ruby on Rails + MySQL

Frontend : React.js

Apps : Android & iOS (React Native)

Testing stack : Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, TestNG, Postman, Karate

Roles and Responsibilities :

Enhance our test automation frameworks

Write and execute test plans for our Rails backend, web SPA, and mobile apps

Develop automation scripts using Selenium, Playwright, Javascript and Java

Plan and perform manual and automated testing of new and existing features

Ensure test coverage across edge cases, regressions, and integrations

Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and edge conditions

Own release validation and quality sign-off cycles

Requirements :

✅ Strong Java or Javascript programming skills

✅ Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Karate , TestNG , and Cucumber

✅ Experience testing web SPAs and mobile applications (React Native)

✅ Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures

✅ Passionate about learning and solving real-world problems

✅ Sense of ownership and ability to work with tight but realistic deadlines

✅ Bachelor's / Master’s degree in CS or related fields

✅ Bonus : Public GitHub projects showcasing your test or dev skills
