Job Responsibilities
- Liaise on a daily basis with clients and media (via telephone and email)
- Manage media inquiries and interview requests
- Creative ideation for campaigns and initiatives
- Identify and seek relevant media opportunities for clients
- Plan and coordinate with media houses and third-party agencies
- Pitch stories and coordinate client interviews with media
- Prepare regular client reports and attend client meetings
- Handle crisis communication and media management
- Monitor media including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media, and blogs for opportunities
- Collate, analyze, and evaluate media coverage
- Research, write, proofread, and distribute press releases / client communications to targeted media
- Regularly follow up with media contacts
- Build strong relationships and networks with colleagues, clients, and media professionals
- Plan and manage on-ground events and press conferences
- Develop PR communication strategies and plans including goals, budgets, and tactics
- Think proactively and plan monthly PR activities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate internal team members
