Generative AI Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to join our Transformation & AI team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and deploying real-world AI applications at scale.

You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying AI-powered applications using Microsoft Azure cloud services , with a focus on App Services, AI Apps, and Azure AI Foundry . The ideal candidate should be comfortable coding in Python, developing UI web applications, and working with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases .

This is a senior engineering role , requiring not only technical depth but also the ability to influence, collaborate, guide other engineers and stakeholders and help shape the future of AI at Accruent.

Must-Have Skills

• Proven hands-on experience with LLMs (Azure OpenAI, HuggingFace, RAG pipelines, etc.).
• Strong experience with Azure Cloud – building and deploying App Services and AI Apps .
• Experience working with Azure AI Foundry and integrating AI models.
• Proficiency in Python for AI / ML development and automation.
• Experience in UI / web app development (HTML, JavaScript / TypeScript, React / Angular).
• Experience integrating LLMs into business process workflows and chat-based UI (Teams, Power Apps, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of databases – both RDBMS (SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (CosmosDB, MongoDB) .
