Overview: Outpace Consulting Services is looking for a Technical Support-IT Desk for a leading ITES company. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals eager to start a career in IT support. You'll be the first point of contact for user queries, providing essential troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues. Key Responsibilities:
- Query Response: Respond promptly and professionally to user queries via phone, email, or ticketing system.
- Troubleshooting: Provide basic troubleshooting support for hardware, software, network, and application issues.
- Incident Management: Log and track all incidents and service requests accurately using a ticket management system.
- Escalation: Escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- IT Setup & Support: Assist in setting up and configuring desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Documentation & Learning: Follow standard operating procedures and maintain documentation, while continuously learning new technologies and processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience: No prior professional experience is required; internships or academic projects in IT are a plus.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and fundamental networking concepts.
