Job description

Job Title : DevOps Engineer

Location : Hyderabad

Employment Type : Full-Time

Responsibilities :

  • Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code - IaC).
  • Manage AWS Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, ECS, and other AWS services to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Utilize Secret Manager & Parameter Store to securely store and manage sensitive configurations.
  • Implement right-sizing strategies for cost optimization, leveraging AWS Compute Savings Plans and Reserved Instances.
  • Maintain scalable, fault-tolerant architectures following AWS Well-Architected Framework.

CI / CD & Deployment Strategies :

  • Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for seamless code deployments and rollbacks.
  • Implement blue-green and canary deployment strategies for zero-downtime releases.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and integrate with CI / CD pipelines.
  • Work closely with development teams to streamline release processes and reduce deployment times,
  • Monitoring, Logging & Security :

  • Configure CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, and ELK stack for log aggregation and monitoring.
  • Implement alerting mechanisms and automated anomaly detection for system health checks.
  • Ensure compliance with AWS security best practices and implement IAM roles, policies, and security groups.
  • Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability scanning, and disaster recovery testing.
  • Design and implement disaster recovery (DR) strategies for critical workloads.
  • Set up multi-region failover and backup mechanisms to ensure business continuity.
  • Optimize SQS and SNS architectures for event-driven and message-based processing.
  • Work on auto-scaling strategies to improve reliability and scalability.
  • Continuously analyze AWS billing and usage, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
  • Implement right-sizing policies and recommendations for ECS, Lambda, RDS, and other cloud resources.
  • Utilize AWS Trusted Advisor and other cost-saving tools to reduce cloud expenditure.
  • Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in AWS DevOps, Infrastructure, or Cloud Engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, ECS, Secret Manager, and Parameter Store.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps CI / CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (ECS, Fargate, Kubernetes).
  • Strong background in SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, and centralized logging solutions.
  • Experience implementing blue-green deployments, disaster recovery, and high-availability architectures.
  • Expertise in AWS cost optimization, right-sizing, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and security tools (AWS GuardDuty, CloudTrail, AWS Security Hub).
  • Experience with serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge).
  • Familiarity with API Gateway, Cognito, and IAM security best practices.
  • Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments (AWS & Azure).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Savings Plans, Cost Explorer, and AWS Budget tools.
  • Exposure to FinOps methodologies for optimizing cloud spend.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Equivalent industry experience with strong technical expertise will also be considered.
