SAP Project Manager

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead and deliver SAP implementation, upgrade, and rollout projects across multiple modules. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of SAP solutions, excellent leadership and communication skills, and hands-on experience managing large-scale enterprise projects using standard methodologies like Agile or Waterfall.

Key Responsibilities :

Plan, manage, and deliver end-to-end SAP projects within scope, budget, and timelines.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, consultants, and technical teams to define project objectives and deliverables.

Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, risk logs, and status reports .

Manage project governance , ensuring adherence to PMO standards, change management, and quality assurance.

Lead cross-functional teams across modules such as SAP SD, MM, FI / CO, HCM, Ariba, SuccessFactors, and BTP.

Coordinate with technical teams for system integration, testing, and deployment activities.

Facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure business readiness for go-live.

Monitor and control project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.

Manage stakeholder communication and provide regular project updates to leadership.

Ensure effective post-implementation support and handover to operations teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

10+ years of total experience with 5+ years of project management experience in SAP implementations or rollouts.

Strong knowledge of SAP S / 4HANA , SAP ECC , or SAP Cloud solutions .

Proven track record of delivering projects using Agile / Waterfall methodologies.

Hands-on experience with project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, or similar).

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

PMP, PRINCE2, or SAP Activate certification is an added advantage.

Ability to work in global environments and manage onsite-offshore delivery models .

Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :

Exposure to SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, or SAP Analytics Cloud .

Experience in managing vendor relationships and third-party integrations .

Strong understanding of business processes across Finance, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
