Job description

🏗️ Role : Computational Designer (Architecture + AI / ML)

Responsibilities :

  • Develop computational workflows that generate site-specific master plan options from basic inputs such as property boundaries and planning rules.
  • Translate zoning codes, sustainability principles, and Vastu guideline into generative design logic.
  • Produce multiple design alternatives that balance feasibility, compliance, and design intent.
  • Build interactive 3D or parametric visualizations that clients can explore in-browser.
  • Collaborate closely with the AI / LLM engineer and full-stack developer to ensure smooth integration of rules, data, and geometry.
  • Explore AI / ML-driven generative design methods that go beyond rules to learn and optimize layouts.

🧩 What We’re Looking For

  • Background : Training in architecture, computational design, or urban design. Bonus if you’ve combined design with programming in past work.
  • Core Skills :
  • Ability to turn design rules and constraints into computational systems.
  • Strong generative design thinking and geometric problem-solving.
  • Experience creating interactive or parametric models that others can use and understand.
  • Mindset :
  • You’re comfortable with ambiguity and can prototype quickly.
  • You care about both design quality and technical execution.
  • You’re curious about how AI / ML can expand the possibilities of computational design.
