Key Responsibilities
- Audit Planning Execution
- Develop and implement annual internal audit plans based on risk assessment.
- Conduct audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes.
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and risk management systems.
- Prepare detailed audit work papers, documentation, and evidence to support findings.
- Risk Assessment Control Evaluation
- Identify areas of business risk, inefficiencies, and control weaknesses.
- Recommend practical and effective control improvements.
- Support management in developing risk mitigation strategies.
- Financial Operational Audits
- Review financial records, transactions, and reporting systems for accuracy and reliability.
- Audit operational activities to ensure alignment with policies and performance standards.
- Verify compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company requirements.
- Reporting Follow-Up
- Prepare clear, concise, and objective audit reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Present audit results to management and follow up on the implementation of corrective actions.
- Track progress and ensure timely resolution of audit issues.
- Compliance Governance
- Ensure adherence to internal audit standards and company policies.
- Support external auditors and regulatory inspections as required.
- Promote ethical business practices and corporate governance.
- Continuous Improvement Advisory
- Provide insights and advice to improve processes, efficiency, and internal controls.
- Stay updated on emerging risks, regulations, and audit methodologies.
- Participate in the development of audit policies and procedures.
