BPC Bioproducts Private Limited (Tradename ‘AMYLO’) is a bioplastics company that develops and commercializes sustainable and cost-effective packaging solutions. Our mission : make sustainable packaging both accessible and commercially viable for India and beyond.

Amylo’s R&D has been supported by Indian Institute of Science’s startup incubator since Dec 2023 through a research grant and through the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme. Amylo was also awarded a research grant by the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms. Backed by cutting-edge R&D, we are now preparing to take our solutions to market and scale adoption across FMCG, retail, and e-commerce.

Role : Co-Founder (GTM & Commercialisation)

Location : Bengaluru

Commitment : Full-time, equity + potential base compensation

Your Role

  • Shape and own the go-to-market strategy for sustainable packaging solutions.
  • Lead enterprise sales and strategic partnerships, especially with FMCG, retail, Q-commerce, and packaging converters.
  • Open doors using your network of senior decision-makers in consumer goods, packaging, and supply chains.
  • Build commercial processes : pricing, contracts, distribution partnerships, channel strategy.
  • Establish the commercial team (sales, BD, account management) over time.
  • Represent the company externally with customers, investors, and industry forums.

What You Bring

  • 12+ years in commercial leadership roles (sales, marketing, BD, P&L ownership).
  • Background in packaging, FMCG, consumer products, or sustainability-driven businesses.
  • Strong track record of launching new products, building markets, or leading growth initiatives.
  • Deep relationships and networks with FMCG procurement heads, packaging buyers, or retail / e-commerce leadership.
  • A willingness to transition from corporate safety to entrepreneurial risk, with strong alignment to sustainability and impact.
  • Comfort with both strategy and execution — from boardroom negotiations to closing the first few accounts yourself.
