Role Overview
We are looking for a New Business Account Executive to join the CPGBuyerAI growth team. This role focuses on acquiring new customers, running consultative sales cycles, and helping CPG brands understand and adopt AI-driven buyer discovery and sales intelligence. You will work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to convert inbound and outbound opportunities into long-term platform customers.
What You'll Do
• Own the full sales cycle from first contact through close for small and mid-sized CPG brands
• Prospect into target accounts using outbound email, LinkedIn, calls, and event-driven leads
• Run discovery calls to understand customer goals, distribution challenges, and buyer needs
• Conduct live demos and walkthroughs of the CPGBuyerAI platform
• Position value clearly around buyer discovery, distribution expansion, and sales efficiency
• Build proposals and close subscription and project-based deals
• Maintain accurate pipeline, activity tracking, and forecasting in CRM
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to share customer insights and feedback
• Support growth initiatives tied to events, competitions, webinars, and trade programs
What We're Looking For
• 1–3 years of experience in SaaS, B2B sales, or CPG-related sales roles
• Proven ability to prospect, qualify, demo, and close new business
• Comfort operating in a quota-driven, high-activity sales environment
• Strong communication skills with confidence running virtual demos and sales calls
• Ability to understand customer problems and translate them into platform value
• Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce
• Self-starter mindset with strong ownership and follow-through
Nice to Have
• Experience selling into wine, beer, spirits, or broader CPG brands
• Familiarity with data platforms, AI tools, or sales intelligence products
• Understanding of distribution, importers, wholesalers, or retail buying structures
