Role Summary

The Student Admission Executive will be a part of Admissions team and UEA Global team and will report to both. The role is critical in delivering faster turnaround, application processing, compliance, and credibility check to a range of stakeholders, including applicants and partner agents.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The post requires the holder to undertake a number of wide-ranging duties and responsibilities in order to assist the university in delivering a high-quality service in line with its strategic plan. These duties and responsibilities include :

General Duties

(A) Admissions Data Management & Integrity

Receive applications and documents from students / agents on Salesforce

Review applications, transcripts, and other documents required for international student admissions and evaluate academic and English credentials to determine admissibility to university programs, make decision

Contact applicants for pending documents, checking the eligibility and validating the documents, upload and revise offer

Checking the authenticity of academic documents, English and letter of recommendation

Other duties as assigned

(B)Administrative Support

Support the admissions team and UEA global team with pre-arrival registrations

Establishing contact with students for timely arrival

Review and coordinate mailbox and upload documentation daily

Respond to e-mail inquiries

Participate in weekly staff meetings

(C ) Others

Good understanding of UK visa financial requirements to conduct financial checks before CAS issuance

Credibility interview of the applicants before and / or after receipt of initial deposit in certain cases and markets

Verification with the bank as and when required

General Information :

Role holders are expected to undertake other appropriate duties as may be requested by management.

Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 10am-6pm however, during busy periods evening and weekend work is an expectation as and when required.

Role will be based in UEA Noida sector 62 office.

Education, Experience & Achievements

Educated to degree level

Recent experience of working in admissions and documentation

Experience of working in a Higher Education environment

UK study experience

Experience of working with a university student records system, such as SITS, salesforce and in the field of higher education is desirable.

Skills & Knowledge

Ability to interpret application data and provide evidence-based reports

Evidence of excellent customer service skills

Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills

Strong administration, planning and IT skills, including MS Office

Attention to detail

Knowledge of issues affecting international student recruitment

Knowledge of UKVI compliance

Personal Attributes

Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work quickly and accurately

Self-starter with ability to take initiatives, excellent motivation and the desire to achieve set goals

Ability to manage own workload and schedule as well as work as part of a larger team

Ability to undertake multiple tasks and projects in a calm, professional manner

Highly adaptable and flexible under pressure.
