Reporting To : Sr. Business Development Manager
Experience Required : 3–5 years in Industrial Sales / Renewable Energy / B2B Solutions
Role Overview
We are looking for an energetic and motivated Junior Business Development Manager / Sales Manager to support our growth in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar EPC segment . The role involves lead generation, client engagement, proposal support, and assisting senior sales managers in closing rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects. The candidate should have basic knowledge of the solar industry and a strong interest in building a career in renewable energy sales.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Outreach
- Identify prospective industrial / commercial clients in assigned region.
- Generate leads through cold calls, visits to industrial parks, and networking.
- Support digital campaigns, consultant tie-ups, and events.
Client Engagement & Support
Conduct preliminary discussions with clients about solar benefits.Schedule and accompany senior managers to meetings with CXOs / plant heads.Collect site load data, bills, and documents for feasibility analysis.Proposal & Coordination
Work with pre-sales engineers to prepare proposals and presentations.Follow up on quotes, documentation, and approvals with customers.Assist in PPA and EPC contract negotiations by providing commercial inputs.Reporting & Market Intelligence
Maintain updated lead funnel on CRM.Provide weekly reporting on leads, meetings, and pipeline.Track competitor activities in the assigned territory.Candidate Profile
Education : Graduate in Engineering / Science / Commerce; MBA (Marketing / Energy) preferred but not mandatory.Experience : 3–5 years in industrial B2B sales, preferably solar energy, electrical equipment, or capital goods.Skills :
Excellent communication & presentation skills.Strong drive for sales and target achievement.Ability to travel extensively in industrial clusters.Basic understanding of solar energy concepts preferred.Compensation
