Unix / Shell Scripting Developer

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including upper / downstream systems, and hardware infra team to define a migration strategy, timeline, and risk mitigation plan.
• Perform the pre-migration testing and build up automation / tooling.
• Execute actual migration of the electronic finance systems to the new data center.
• Perform the post-migration validation and ensure the system's integrity after migration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the migration.
• Coordinate with internal teams and PMO to make sure the migration milestones are :
• Hands-on system operation experience under Unix / Linux.
• Proficient in one of the scripting languages : Python or Unix / Linux shell script.
• General understanding and some exposure to C++ and Java.
• Knowledge of network, understand TCP / IP and UDP connectivity and data transfer.
• Experience with CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Highly Self-motivated and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience in system migration of large-scale systems under Unix / Linux.
• Experience in maintaining and operating electronic finance systems
