Job descriptionBachelor's in Civil or Architectural Engineering (preferred) 3 to 7 years in construction estimation or project management roles Proficient in Microsoft Excel, BlueBeam Revu, PlanSwift, or On-Screen Takeoff Strong focus on accuracy and precision in estimation and cost analysis Ability to communicate project requirements and estimates to stakeholders in English Solid understanding of construction codes, regulations, and best practices
We are a leading multinational commercial construction subcontracting company specializing in estimation, take-offs, and 3D BIM modeling for projects ranging from small renovations to large-scale commercial constructions. We’re seeking a motivated and skilled Glazing Estimator to join our team and contribute to our growing success.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project plans and specifications to determine project scope and identify risks or opportunities
- Prepare detailed, accurate cost estimates based on material requirements, labor rates, and project timelines
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and availability of materials
- Identify and implement cost-saving strategies that do not compromise quality or project performance
- Work with project managers and team members to ensure all estimates are aligned with project goals and timelines
- Guide junior estimators to ensure high-quality estimates and timely project delivery
