Electrical Design Engineer

Job Location : Pune / Ahmedabad / Delhi / Bangalore

Position : Electrical Design Engineer

Experience : 7-10 years

Qualification : B.E or B. Tech. (Electrical)

Project Experience : International based projects with Buildings based experience.

Required Skills & Experience : -

• Building services engineering experience from a design consultancy environment or a contractor with design & built environment.
• Sound knowledge of engineering calculations like Equipment & Switchgear sizing, Cable sizing, voltage drop, earthing calculation etc.
• Experience on various Electrical calculation and services layout like :
• Lighting Calculation for Normal, Emergency using DIALUX, RELUX or equivalent software tools & Daylighting calculations.
• Earthing / Grounding Designing and Lightning Protection.
• Electrical load calculations.
• Panel Schedules, DB Schedules, Luminary Schedules etc.
• Skills required on 2D & 3D drafting tools like AutoCAD, Revit, Naviswork Engineers with experience on Autodesk Revit MEP and Autodesk Navisworks - Mandatory
• Experience on modelling of electrical & ELV services using AutoCAD & Revit is a mandatory requirement.
• Worked on diff. building sectors – residential, commercial, institutional (schools, colleges), healthcare (hospitals), transportation (airports, bus stations, metro stations), data centres etc.
• Experience of working on Common data environments like BLUEBEAM, BIM 360, Drop Box, ProjectWise (collaborative tools to work on a model).
• Should have skill to manage & prioritize while working on multiple tasks.
• Should have good oral and written communication skills.
• Should be self-motivated, proactive and good team player.
• Good understanding of coordination between different MEPF services as well as Architectural & Structural design from engineering & spatial coordination point of view.
• Experience of working on Common data environments like BLUEBEAM, BIM 360, Drop Box, ProjectWise (collaborative tools to work on a model).
• Should have good oral and written communication skills.
• Should be self-motivated, proactive and good team player.
