About The Team
FIS Managed IT group provides support and implementation solutions to customers throughout the U.S. Our engineers work to provide support, design solutions, hardware systems, and provide top-tier customer service.
What You Will Be Doing
- Assists with recommending, scheduling and implementing system hardware and / or software upgrades or repairs
- Must be able to propose and implement systems enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the systems
- Must be able to install and maintain software
- Experience in Large enterprise VMware infrastructures 1000+ VMs
- Must have knowledge and experience in VMWare and virtual infrastructures
- Must be able to troubleshoot VMware-ESX related incidents
- Must be able to Patch and maintain ESX host servers
- Must have extensive knowledge on Windows and Citrix PVS servers
- Must have knowledge working on Azure, M365 and Exchange
- Meeting SLA / KPI targets consistently
- Liaison with vendors for the technical issues / escalations
- Work in shifts, including UK / US shifts and participate in OnCall rotation including Weekends to cover 24 / 7 operations when needed
- Documentation & Operational performance reporting
What You Bring
4-6 years' experience in working in IT services organizationL2 level Knowledge and experience on Windows Servers 2012 / 16 / 19 / 22, VMware infrastructure and Citrix PVSGood Knowledge on supporting Office 365, Azure and ExchangeTroubleshooting Windows Server, VMware, Citrix servers issues by providing detailed written root cause analysis and action plans for permanent resolutionMust be able to effectively analyze and solve problemsMust be able to monitor usage and performanceMust be able to troubleshoot server, software and hardware issuesSound knowledge and experience on ticket management system / tools.
