Job descriptionIt would be preferred that you have an IT degree / diploma. Preferred also that you have an accounting degree / diploma. You should have a thorough understanding of accounting principles, as well as how Inventory, Payroll, Creditors, Debtors work. Knowledge and experience with Australian & New Zealand payroll systems - Employment Hero, Keypay and Xero as well. A passion to understand intimately and work with software solutions that help customers transform their business A sound understanding on functional perspectives of Odoo and its features. Understanding business setups like inventory, manufacturing, wholesale, e-commerce, retail etc. Advanced Excel skills Strong interpersonal and people management skills, ability to motivate others in a team environment and collaborate with other departments Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Comfortable with self-organization, prioritization, and multitasking Dedicated team player with the ability to work autonomously A friendly and professional manner. Independently motivated self-starters with a strong work ethic Detail-oriented but still able to see the big picture Diplomatic but able to provide direct feedback when it is needed Able to manage stress with a positive attitude, even in challenging situations Receptive to constructive feedback and interested in growth and self-improvement Highly adept at detecting and preventing risks and solving problem Perceptive and understanding, able to communicate clearly and professionally Ready to jump into tasks and do whatever is needed The ability to listen, analyse and solve customer inquiries Can think outside the square and on their feet Pays attention to detail Punctual Client management expertise Excellent computer skills
The Odoo Functional Consultant (Accounting) works alongside the Operations Team and is required to help ensure the client's workflow is set up in the best possible way in Odoo. They are to utilise industry best practice and workflow, understand the client's requirements clearly, and work with the team to implement this in a timely and high-quality manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creates a detailed workflow schedule on Odoo based on strict deadlines
- Setup Odoo in the best possible way to optimise the clients requirements
- Support the onboarding of new ERP projects to ensure clients’ expectations are met
- Helps the team finish work on time and on schedule, without compromising quality and maintains highest productivity
- Communicate with the client and address concerns escalated by clients or team members
- Communicate client issues with the team and devise ways of improving the client’s experience, including resolving problems and complaints
- Use our in-house project management system to communicate with clients, work through tasks and log times, etc.
- Review / Audit current customer solutions to ensure the system is working according to the clients’ expectations.
- Remote support for existing clients for Xero, DEAR and other in-house systems
- Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale
- Perform other tasks assigned
