Role : Graphic Design Intern (Full-Time)

Work Details

Location : GUSEC, Gujarat University Campus, Ahmedabad

Timing : 10 : 30 AM – 6 : 00 PM

Stipend : ₹7,000 per month

Job Overview

GUSEC (Gujarat University Startup & Entrepreneurship Council) is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Design Intern to support our branding, visual storytelling, and social media design needs.

You will work closely with the communications and marketing team to design graphics for events, startup promotions, content campaigns, and GUSEC initiatives.

Responsibilities

Graphic Creation & Social Media

Design engaging social media posts for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook & Twitter

Create event creatives, posters, banners, and promotional visuals

Make clean and modern template-based content for regular announcements

Design creatives for startup stories, founder spotlights, and impact visuals

Branding & Communication

Ensure brand consistency across all graphics

Help build visual identity elements for new programs & events

Design digital assets such as thumbnails, mailers, headers, infographics

Creative Support

Work with the marketing / content team to convert ideas into visuals

Support designers, photo / video teams during events & campaigns

Contribute ideas for creative campaigns, layouts, and visual storytelling

Required Skills

Hands-on knowledge of Canva

Good understanding of Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator (or similar tools)

Strong sense of layout, typography, color theory, composition

Ability to create clean, minimalistic, modern designs

Creativity + willingness to learn new tools & styles

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Work Requirements

Full-time, on-campus (10 : 30 AM – 6 : 00 PM)
