SAP Data Steward

Required Skills & Experience :

4+ years of experience working in Data Governance or Data Management or Data Stewardship experience, general understanding of data governance concepts and processes

Strong data management background who understands data, how to ingest data, proper data use / consumption, data quality, and stewardship.

(PLUS) Functional and / or Data Management Experience in SAP (ECC or S / 4HANA required) in one or more of the areas listed below :

Finance and Controlling (FICO)

Materials Management (MM)

Production Planning (PP)

Sales and Distribution (SD)

Vendor and Customer Management

Ability to partner with both business and technical subject matter experts to ensure standardization of operational information and execution of enterprise-wide data governance policies and procedures are defined and implemented.

Basic SQL knowledge and experience working with Visualization BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc).

Advanced data analytical skills, including identification, interpretation and documentation of data patterns, standards, and quality rules

Strong communication skills and Excel proficiency, including experience profiling with Excel

Experience researching, validating, profiling and cataloging datasets

Ability to own sub-tasks of a project with little supervision.

Excellent written and oral communication

Informatica (EDC, Axon, IDQ, Reference 360)

Intermediate – Advanced Excel experience

Job Description :

A Fortune 100 client is looking to add a Data Steward Advisor to their team. Activities will include, but not limited to : Highly motivated with ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment

• Demonstrated proficiency in using Excel to source, analyze, normalize and process data to define requirements for ongoing processing and management of the data including quality validations.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of master data elements and processes
• Strong data management background with understanding of how to ingest data, proper data use / consumption, data quality, and stewardship
• Ability to translate business requirements into critical data dependencies and requirements
