Job Description : Senior Financial Analyst (SAP S / 4HANA)

Position : Senior Financial Analyst / Finance Manager

Location : India (Remote, Team based in Italy)

Contract Type : Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week)

About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Financial Analyst with 15–20 years’ experience in finance, accounting, and SAP-enabled transformation to join our European operations, whilst being based out of India. The successful candidate will be a trusted finance leader with deep SAP S / 4HANA expertise (FICO, Product Costing, CO-PA) and proven experience across order-to-cash (O2C), procure-to-pay (P2P), plan-to-product (P2P), and request-to-service (R2S) cycles.

With a strong finance and business leadership background, the candidate will partner with cross-functional teams, drive financial insights, and ensure best-in-class process excellence to support operational and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
  • Serve as SAP S / 4HANA FICO Subject Matter Expert , driving adoption, optimization, and continuous improvement of financial processes.
  • Manage end-to-end business cycles :
  • Order-to-Cash (O2C) : Streamline billing, collections, and revenue recognition.
  • Procure-to-Pay (P2P) : Oversee purchasing, vendor management, and payment cycles.
  • Plan-to-Product : Support costing, product lifecycle, and profitability analysis.
  • Request-to-Service (R2S) : Align service delivery with financial and operational KPIs.
  • Provide business insights through Hyperion, SAP reporting, and advanced financial analytics to support executive decision-making.
  • Partner with leadership to evaluate new projects, investments, and product cost structures.
  • Support regulatory compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness in line with IFRS / GAAP standards.
  • Build and mentor finance teams to strengthen organizational capability.
  • Act as a business advisor to senior management , aligning financial planning with strategic growth.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; MBA preferred .
  • 15–20 years’ experience in Finance / Accounting with senior-level or managerial roles.
  • Certified SAP Application Associate – SAP S / 4HANA Financial Accounting (or equivalent).
  • Strong expertise in SAP FICO, Product Costing, CO-PA, and SAP Business Processes .
  • Demonstrated leadership in budgeting, costing, and financial analysis .
  • Proficiency with Hyperion Financial Reporting and other advanced analytics tools.
  • Proven track record in process improvement, audits, and compliance management .
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
