Job descriptionStrong 3-5 years of experience in backend development using Node.js, Python, Java, Go, or similar Proficiency in working with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) Experience in designing RESTful APIs (and optionally GraphQL APIs) Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices (OAuth, JWT, etc.) Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Experience with Git and version control workflows Good communication and collaboration skills A fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment High ownership and autonomy Opportunity to shape category strategy at a growing commerce brand Collaborative and impact-driven team culture
Role Summary :
We are seeking a talented Backend Engineer to join our development team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power our applications. You will work closely with front-end engineers, product managers, and DevOps to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance backend solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs
- Build and optimize databases (SQL, NoSQL) for performance and scalability
- Integrate third-party services and external APIs
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless data flow and integration
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Ensure system reliability, security, and data protection
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging
- Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments
- Stay updated on backend technologies, frameworks, and best practices
