In addition to education, we offer skills training through our EMET program, coaching for exams, and personal development initiatives. Our focus is on the poorest of the visually impaired who lack support for higher education, primarily those who migrate to urban areas for better facilities.
Job title - Administrator – Scholarship, Beneficiary and Alumni Connect
Job location - Chennai
Gross Salary - Rs.55-70K per month + benefits
Require - minimum 10 years of work experience
Role Description
- Oversee the smooth end-to-end implementation of the Scholarship Application, Professional Courses Program and Beneficiary Support programs.
- Supervise and guide the Administration and volunteer teams involved in data collection, verification, and student support.
- Liaise with colleges, universities, and training institutions to promote the foundation’s scholarship and skill development programs.
- Plan and coordinate college-level awareness programs, workshops, and events for visually impaired students.
- Engage and manage college coordinators and volunteers for outreach and beneficiary follow-up.
- Lead the survey and impact assessment activities, including data collection, analysis, and report generation to support decision-making.
- Maintain update records of beneficiaries, scholarships, and program outcomes in databases and Excel sheets.
- Support the Alumni Network initiatives, ensuring regular engagement and career tracking.
- Collaborate with the communication team to document success stories and project highlights.
- Assist management in preparing periodic MIS reports, dashboards, and analytics on scholarship disbursement and student progress.
Qualification
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Social Work, Management, or related fields.Experience working in education, disability inclusion, or community development sectors is an added qualification.Skills Required
Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Excellent verbal and written communication in English.Ability to speak Hindi. Other Indian languages is an added advantage.Good networking and interpersonal skills to collaborate with institutions and stakeholders.Highly organized, proactive, and empathetic towards the needs of visually impaired students.
