Python Developer

Description

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable applications and a passion for programming with Python. You will work collaboratively with other developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust applications using Python.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Assist in the integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Skills and Qualifications

Develop FastAPI-based REST APIs for data migration workflows

Implement Celery task queues for distributed asynchronous processing

Design complex ETL pipelines and transformation utilities

Optimize queries and manage schema compatibility between MySQL and PostgreSQL

Implement data validation, incremental sync, and error recovery mechanisms

Configure monitoring, alerting, and secure API access

Technical Requirements

Programming :  Python 3.11+, FastAPI, Celery, Pandas, SQLAlchemy

Databases :  MySQL, PostgreSQL, schema migration, performance optimization

ETL & Processing :  Data mapping, batch / real-time pipelines, transformation utilities

Additional :  Security best practices, exception handling, system scalability

Experience

4–5 years backend development experience

Strong track record in data migration projects
