Senior Python Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Python Developer at Acorn Globus. The Python Developer will be responsible for back-end web development, software development, object-oriented programming (OOP), database management, and overall programming tasks to support the creation of innovative software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of complex Python-based applications using Django

framework

Manage projects from conception to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and

high-quality output

Contribute independently to codebase while overseeing team contributions

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including US-based colleagues

Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation

Requirements

6+ years of experience working with Django or Python based web development

Proven track record of successful Python projects

Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal forms

Ability to work effectively in a remote setting

Strong independent contributor with self-motivation and discipline

Comfortable with having overlaps with US team hours

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with React for front-end development

Familiarity with GoLang is a plus

Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Experience with agile methodologies
