Position title :  Senior Software Engineer (.NET full stack developer with Angular)

Location :  Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

Shift timings :  8.00am to 5.00pm or 12.00pm to 9.00pm IST

Work mode :  Hybrid - 3 Days office

Job responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design, development, troubleshoot, test and document a range of applications including backend (server-side), Web (Vu.js or Angular).
  • Interact in a constructive manner with Business Analysts / Tech Lead to : Estimate the complexity and the workload;Choose the most appropriate technical solution to meet the user requirements;Reach the optimal requirement artifact that will lead to a working software solution.
  • Interact in a constructive manner with other IT teams.
  • Master and apply team technologies and processes and take active part in creating team success.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Objectives :

Senior Software Engineer as part of the respective scrum team should have the ability to analyze, code and deliver tasks as planned with defined quality. Also appreciate to have the ability to learn and acquire new technology skills as a long-term objective. This role expects the candidate to work closely with the scrum team effectively understand the requirements and think through all possible use cases and deliver a quality code per the defined standard and timelines.

Experience :

  • 5 to 7 years of experience with developing end to end solutions using .net Technologies.
  • Strong working knowledge on serverside development (ASP.NET MVC, .net Core)
  • Good working knowledge of MS SQL, Performance Optimization of queries.
  • Strong experience in designing and working with n-tier architecture.
  • Hands-on experience in unit testing (NUNIT / XUNIT / MSTEST)
  • Working knowledge of Angular, HTML5 and CSS3 technologies
  • Should have worked on at least one SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) project.
  • Good understanding of UML, object-oriented programming (OOP) and Object-Oriented Design principles
  • Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices
  • Should have worked in an AGILE practice methodology (preferably SCRUM)
  • Able to provide technical recommendations and solve technical problems.
  • Must be a quick learner.

    • Technology skills :

  • Strong and proven background in Information Technology
  • Strong design skills, Solid principles, Design patterns, documentation of design using UML
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux
  • Unit testing :  NUNIT
  • Angular, JQuery, Javascript, HTML5 and CSS3 technologies
  • SQL Server

    • Technology – Nice to have :

  • Azure or AWS platform knowledge
  • Experience in Azure DevOps, PowerShell
  • Experience in Liquibase, Knockout JS
  • TDD / ATDD

    • Methodology skills

  • AGILE Development (Scrum)

    • Personal Skills :

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal / written communication skills. Fluent in English and the working country language
  • Should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work in a complex international environment.
  • Experience in Agile (Scrum) methodologies would be a plus.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.

    • PREFERED CANDIDATES :

  • The successful candidate will have a self-motivated, get-it-done attitude; the ability to think critically; enjoy working with teams spread globally and across cultures; a desire to learn in new areas; and the discipline to pay attention to deadlines, details, and quality.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team in Europe.
