Roles and Responsibilities
The role will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring adherence of the activities related to Compliance Advisory and Business Facilitation, Compliance Monitoring and testing and implementation of circulars, Product Notes and Business Advisories in accordance with the applicable laws, regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures. This role will also be required to establish compliance and monitoring standards and implement procedures to ensure that the compliance programs throughout the organization are effective and efficient in identifying, preventing, detecting and correcting non-compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Ideal candidate should have a Strong domain expertise, capable, decisive, self-starter and a go-getter with a ‘win-to-do’ attitude.
Experience in wholesale and retail banking loan and other product offerings with a reputed bank or financial institution.
Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, apart from their implications and ensure proper implementation of the same.
Experience in setting up policies and processes compliant with regulator’s guidelines and standards
Strong internal stakeholder relationship management skills – able to influence and manage expectations
Strong networking skills with the ability to build and maintain a network of external (other compliance officials and in-house compliance teams of banks or financial institutions) and internal business relationships (senior management and peers)
Excellent verbal & written communication skills, good presentation skills and excellent negotiation skills
Ability to develop, grow and nurture a highly motivated and result oriented teamStrong desire to initiate and execute in high paced growth environment and ever challenging demands.
