Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

This role is responsible for managing and supporting the organization's IT infrastructure — ensuring its reliability, performance, and security in alignment with manufacturing operations. The incumbent will oversee servers, endpoints, storage systems, virtualization platforms, backups, patch management, IT security (non-network), and related tools.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage, endpoints, VC, and other devices.
• Manage Windows / Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Server, and Group Policies.
• Implement and monitor backup solutions, disaster recovery, and patch management.
• Administer the Azure portal and review cloud logs & alerts.
• Handle endpoint management — desktops, laptops, printers, MDM, biometric devices, and UPS.
• Manage endpoint security tools (antivirus, device encryption, application control).
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware / software support and warranty claims.
• Support IT asset lifecycle management, documentation, and audits (ISO, internal controls).
• Monitor performance and uptime of critical IT systems and infrastructure.
