SENIOR TECHNICIAN

Duties and Responsibilities :

Supervise and perform maintenance, repair, and installation of retail equipment such as POS systems, HVAC, refrigeration units, electrical and mechanical systems.

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical problems in electrical, mechanical, or electronic systems used within the retail space.

Coordinate with external contractors or vendors for specialized repairs and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Lead, train, and mentor junior technicians or maintenance staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and maintenance protocols.

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory for accountability and scheduling.

Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns or service interruptions to minimize downtime and customer impact.

Ensure work areas and equipment meet safety and cleanliness standards within the retail environment.

Assist in managing procurement and inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.

Requirements

Skills Required :

Strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, electronic systems, and retail-specific equipment (e.g., POS machines, refrigeration).

Leadership skills to supervise junior technicians and coordinate with external vendors.

Good communication skills for clear reporting and coordination with store management and external parties.
