Description

The Manager - Merger & Acquisition will be responsible for leading the strategic evaluation and execution of M&A transactions. This role involves conducting thorough analysis, managing due diligence processes, and working closely with various stakeholders to ensure successful integration of acquired businesses.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the M&A process from initiation to integration.
Conduct financial analysis and due diligence on potential acquisition targets.
Develop financial models to assess the value of potential mergers and acquisitions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate strategic fit and operational synergies.
Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders on M&A opportunities.
Negotiate terms and conditions of acquisitions and manage relationships with external advisors.
Monitor and assess the performance of acquired companies post-merger.

Skills and Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, or corporate finance.

Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, including Excel and financial databases.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks related to M&A transactions.

CA is a must.

Education

Chartered Accountancy (C.A)
