Role for an Assistant Civil Engineer

An assistant role in on-site supervision is vital for the smooth execution of turnkey projects, requiring a balance of technical, coordination, procurement, and accounting skills.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee ongoing site activities, ensuring quality and compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate with designers, contractors, suppliers, and labor teams to ensure work progresses according to schedule and resolve technical issues on-site.
• Assist in planning, design reviews, technical documentation, and preparation of project progress reports.
• Conduct quality checks on materials and construction practices, maintain records of material usage, and prepare requisitions well in advance.
• Manage site accounting, including documentation of labor costs, material payments, contractor bills, daily consumption reports, and cost estimation to keep the project within budget.
