We are seeking an experienced QA Manual Tester IV to join our client’s team and contribute to ensuring the delivery of top-quality web and API applications.
Primary Skills
- Web application testing (manual functional and regression testing)
- API and REST API testing using tools such as Postman or Bruno
- UI automation basics using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies , defect tracking, and reporting
Secondary Skills
Performance testing using tools like JMeter or BlazeMeterExposure to mobile application testingFamiliarity with AI-based testing tools or frameworksQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience9+ years of hands-on QA / testing experienceProven experience in manual testing of web and API-based applicationsFamiliarity with API automation using RestAssured (Java) is a plusExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsStrong collaboration skills in Agile development environmentsResponsibilities
Perform manual testing of web and desktop applications for functional and non-functional quality.Conduct manual API testing to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of REST services.Collaborate with developers, QA peers, and managers to design and execute detailed test plans and test cases .Log, track, and retest defects to ensure thorough resolution.Utilize Postman / Bruno for API testing and validation.Provide regular testing progress updates and communicate critical issues effectively.Assist in UI automation testing (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).Support API automation initiatives using RestAssured (Java) .Ideal Candidate
