Job Description :

This role is with one of our clients which is a Pune-based consultancy specializing in establishing Digital Engineering practices and building the digital tapestry in organizations through formal Systems Engineering methodologies. With integrated digital engineering solutioning they assist organizations to solve engineering problems, embrace emerging technologies and achieve operational excellence. Currently the company engages with various industry domains such as aerospace, automotive, industrial equipment manufacturing and typically with large OEMs, MNCs and PSUs. This role is in the aerospace domain.

Position : MBSE Engineer (SysML - Aerospace)

This role is ideal for someone passionate about shaping the future of aerospace, while also executing System Engineering projects with a talented team of engineers and designers. You will be a role model who leads by example by being responsive, collaborative, and technically sound.

Location : Pune

Relevant Experience (Must have) :

  • A professional with 3 - 5 years of industry experience, looking for a challenging opportunity to be a part of projects in Systems Engineering, with a strong willingness to learn new technologies, methodologies and Digital Engineering and MBSE tools.
  • Aerospace experience is a must
  • Product Development and Systems Architecture experience
  • Knowledge of MBSE / MBSD / MBE tools using SysML such as Cameo / Rhapsody / PREEvision etc
  • Writing and managing requirements in requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS, Polarion etc
  • Modelling and Simulation
  • Team leading experience with a team of greater than 5 members
  • Has worked on complex projects and appreciation of system complexity
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Has experience working with clients, customers, stakeholders

Good to have Experience :

  • Implement and maintain rigorous quality assurance and control procedures across all project stages.
  • Responsible for developing the project plan, project schedule, resource plan and project budget with the project team
  • Configuration Management
  • V&V experience
  • Project Management experience and certification
  • Programming knowledge (C / C++ / MATLAB or any other)

    • Roles and Responsibilities :

    Be part of MBSE projects.

  • Understanding customer requirements.
  • Breaking down project activities into tasks for team members
  • Review projects to ensure quality and on-time delivery
  • Reviewing deliverables with customers and stakeholders

    • Executing complex projects

  • Understanding Clients needs and identifying gaps and opportunities
  • Defining SE processes as required in the project
  • Exploring MBSE tools and implementing SE processes
  • Providing process trainings to clients when required

    • Ensuring project is on track

  • Work with Project manager to define project plan
  • Regularly update project progress

    • Education :

  • BTech / MTech in Aerospace, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, or equivalent
  • Certification in Systems Engineering (good to have)

    • Travel : ~25%
