Data Strategy & Vision : Define and implement the organization’s long-term data strategy, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and market opportunities.Leadership & Innovation : Lead and mentor a high-performing team of data engineers, analysts, and scientists. Drive a culture of data innovation, exploration, and continuous improvement.Technology & Architecture : Oversee the design and implementation of data architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and accessibility of data systems. Expertise in Databricks, Snowflake and Data technologiesBusiness Collaboration : Partner with other C-suite executives and business leaders to integrate data-driven insights into strategic decision-making across departments.Analytics & Insights : Guide the development and deployment of analytics platforms and data models that provide actionable insights to enhance business operations.AI / ML Integration : Promote the use of advanced machine learning and AI tools to optimize business processes, predictive modeling, and customer experiences.Budgeting & Resource Allocation : Manage the department’s budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to meet short and long-term goals.Expertise You'll Bring :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and Databricks are preferred.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA or equivalent is a plus).Experience : Minimum 10 years of experience in technology leadership roles with at least 5 years focusing on data management, analytics, and data technologies.Expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Azure Data technologiesStrong understanding of data architectures, big data technologies, cloud platforms, and data integration.Experience in AI, machine learning, GenAI and data visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, TensorFlow, Tableau).Proven track record in developing and executing data governance frameworks and policies.Deep knowledge of data security and compliance standards, including GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, et.Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.Exceptional strategic thinking, business acumen, and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.Certifications : Relevant certifications in data management, Databricks, Snowflake, cloud technologies, Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)) are a plus.Familiarity with industry-specific data trends and challenges.Experience in driving digital transformation initiatives using data-driven insights.Ability to stay ahead of emerging data technologies and trends, with a focus on continuous improvement.Benefits :
