Forsys - Oracle Apps Database Administrator

Job Summary :

Forsys Inc., a leader in Lead-to-Revenue transformation and a key implementation partner for Oracle, is seeking an experienced Oracle Apps DBA to manage, maintain, and optimize our Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite) R12 applications and associated databases. This role requires deep technical expertise in performance tuning, patching, cloning, and managing high-availability environments, including DR configuration and participation in 24 / 7 on-call activities.

Key Responsibilities :

EBS and Database Management :

• Lead the day-to-day management and comprehensive Monitoring of Oracle EBS (R12) Applications & Databases.
• Perform advanced Database performance tuning & optimization to ensure high availability and efficiency.
• Provide expert troubleshooting for critical EBS components, specifically resolving concurrent manager issues and general performance issues.
• Manage all aspects of Database backups & Recovery strategies, ensuring data integrity and rapid restoration and Maintenance :
• Implement & Maintain TLS / SSL certificates for EBS environments to secure data transmission.
• Gain and apply experience in managing JAR signing through HSM (Hardware Security Module) for EBS security.
• Execute all necessary patching procedures for EBS, Database, and WebLogic Availability and Operations :
• Configure and Maintain the Disaster Recovery (DR) environment for EBS.
• Execute routine Cloning & Refresh of EBS instances for development, testing, and production support activities.
• Provide support for integration with third-party products and external systems.
• Work closely with Infrastructure & Functional teams to efficiently diagnose and fix complex technical Administration and Support :
• Demonstrate proficiency in the administration of various Oracle Technologies including OAS, OTM, Oracle Webcenter Imaging, ASCP, and SOA.
• Participate in mandatory on-call activities and be willing to work in a 24 / 7 environment to support global :
• Experience : Relevant professional experience managing and maintaining Oracle EBS R12 environments (implied 6+ years).
• Core EBS DBA Skills : Proven expertise in EBS patching, cloning / refresh, performance tuning, and concurrent manager troubleshooting.
• Security : Hands-on experience implementing TLS / SSL certificates and knowledge of JAR signing through HSM for EBS.
• Database Skills : Strong experience with Database backups & Recovery and overall database administration.
• Availability : Mandatory willingness to work in a 24 / 7 environment and participate in on-call Skills :
• Experience in performing an Upgrade of EBS & Database.
• Strong knowledge of Label printing administration.
• Hands-on knowledge or administration experience with Oracle middleware / applications (OAS, OTM, SOA, Webcenter Imaging).
• Knowledge on MS SQL database administration concepts.
